PC strand consists of wires spun together in the same direction and with the same lay length. The PC strand product contains 2-wire, 3-wire and 7-wire strands. Low relaxation PC strand can be used for either prestressing or post-tensioning of concrete.
Feature: Low relaxation, High Tensile Strength.
Construction: 1*2,1*3 and 1*7 wires
Application : PC Strand is mainly used for prestressed concrete structural reinforcement, such as span railway and highway bridges, crane beam, ground anchoring project, multi-storey industrial plants and other.
Prestressed concrete strand (PC strand) is a high-grade, low-relaxation, 7-strand steel cord used in the reinforcement and strengthening of pre-stressed concrete structures. Because it is used in critical applications, this strand consists of high-carbon steel with a high tensile strength, manufactured to the highest quality standards to ensure its durability. PC strand is available in several different thicknesses, ranging between .25 inches and .6 inches in diameter.
