Product Introduction
Prestressed threaded bar (or PT bars) are high-strength, high-precision, straight-line steel bars with external threads on the entire steel bar. The steel bar can be screwed onto the connector with internal threads at any section or screwed with a threaded nut with internal threads for anchoring. The utility model has the advantages of simple connection and anchorage, strong adhesion, safe and reliable tension and anchorage and the like, and is a novel material for developing prestressed concrete component.
Due to its increased efficiency, the post-tension bar system has the potential to reduce construction time significantly. By utilizing fewer materials and allowing for longer spans without the need for additional support, the post-tensioning technique reduces overall construction costs. Additionally, with shorter project timelines, developers can accelerate return on investment, making it an attractive option for both commercial and residential projects.
The continuous external thread is hot rolled. The shape of thread bar is shown as following figure. The main dimension ranges from ⌀15mm-⌀50mm and the grade ranges from 500/630Mpa to 1200/1330Mpa.
TCPS’ bonded post-tensioning system with thread bars is a high-performance solution for improving the structural integrity and load-carrying capacity of concrete structures, and is specifically designed for straight tendons without any profile. There are two types of Thread bars- Hot rolled and Cold Rolled. All bars are with continuous thread end to end of bar and can be cut in any location and coupled. The low-slip anchorage with nuts allows for low losses of prestressing force, even with short bars.
